Baiul, who won Olympic gold in 1994 when she was just 16, finalized her divorce from her former husband, Carlo Farina, this week. The two were married for 13 years. Together, they share a 10-year-old daughter named Sophia. As part of the final court decision, Farina was granted full custody of Sophia. The ruling also includes strict conditions for Baiul. She has agreed to attend anger management classes and undergo testing for drugs and alcohol.The news has shocked many fans who remember Oksana Baiul as a teen skating star. Oksana Baiul and Carlo Farina finalize divorce with custody, relocation, and court conditions

Carlo Farina, who has served as the chief executive officer of the Champions On Ice Tour since June 2020, was awarded sole custody of Sophia. Under the agreement, he is allowed to move with their daughter from Louisiana to Las Vegas, according to People.
The agreement also states that Farina will make good faith efforts to arrange visits between Baiul and Sophia, if Baiul requests them and if their daughter agrees.Neither Baiul nor Farina will pay spousal support. Baiul is also not required to pay child support under the settlement.Another key part of the agreement focuses on Baiul’s personal recovery. She has agreed to enroll in anger management classes and to be tested for drugs and alcohol to help maintain sobriety.On Christmas Day, Baiul shared a video on Facebook showing a sobriety chip. She called it a “gift” and spoke briefly about her journey.After the divorce ruling, Baiul shared an emotional message online. She wrote, “As I’m sure anyone who has ever been through a separation or divorce knows, it is a lengthy and often devastating journey.” She added, “Divorce is hard enough, but when there is a child involved they must be the priority. As a mother, I ask that you please respect our privacy at this time as we move forward building our new future.”As part of the settlement, the former couple will sell a shared property in Louisiana. Baiul has permission to live in another home they owned together for now.Last September, Oksana Baiul announced she was selling her $1.195 million mansion in Shreveport. She wrote online, “I can’t make a living in Shreveport.
