Someone like the NBA legend Charles Barkley talking about copying the gesture of the global baseball icon Pedro Martinez. During a recent episode of The Steam Room Podcast Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson spoke about the vocal exercises and in between the conversation the former NBA star confessed to copying the gestures of the Baseball legend Pedro Martinez. During a recent segment of The Steam Room Podcast Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson welcomed the former football star Matt Ryan. As the three of them were discussing the vocal exercises before going live, Ryan curiously asked whether they followed any special exercise. Johnson mentioned that they never followed any serious or special vocal exercise, but confessed that they followed the gestures of a famous baseball athlete Pedro Martinez. He said- “We have one little thing that we do. We stole it from Pedro Martinez cuz Pedro does it,” The Philadelphia 76ers alum recalled that they did go through a session on vocal lessons before taking off with the March Madness. The Inside the NBA duo does not seem to practice it much though. During an interview with the reputed media outlet Vanity Fair back in 2023, MLB icon Pedro Martinez opened his heart out. The 53-year-old baseball star spoke about the various aspects of his life, one of the most significant ones being baseball. He said- “I felt like someone needed to tell him how important he was to baseball. I felt like someone from baseball should have acknowledged what those guys mean to all of us. I'm a fan and I love baseball. I love professionalism. I love discipline.”He further mentioned-“I mean, baseball is just beautiful. If you watch the last two games [of the World Baseball Classic], baseball was just perfect and beautiful harmony. There was a little bit of everything. Excitement in the stands. Who doesn’t want to see games like that?” The broadcasting career of Pedro Martinez speaks volumes about his charismatic persona and his in-depth knowledge of baseball.
