Walker Buehler and Mckenzie attended kindergarten together, but it was not before their high school days that they started talking. Buehler shared a leaf of his love life with Inside Weddings and revealed a great deal about their growing-up phase. He said:


“In the eighth grade, our class went to the mall, and McKenzie walked up to me and asked if I wanted to walk around with her.”
