Despite never facing off against each other inside the Octagon, the rivalry between these two MMA fighters seems far from over. Cris Cyborg’s recent dig at former UFC icon Ronda Rousey has left the internet convulsed with laughter. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter did not hesitate while comparing Rousey to a farm animal. While this insult was perceived as hilarious by many, some saw this as an intentional jab from Cyborg to stir up the possibilities of a fight that never happened.

Ultimate insult? Cris Cyborg disses Ronda Rousey

Cris Cyborg is an esteemed MMA fighter, recognized for her spectacular performances throughout her career. As a part of the PLF roster, Cyborg already has named the next potential opponent for her MMA return. Cyborg keeps the fans posted with her vlogs on her YouTube channel, and recently gave a visual insight of her training camp and interestingly introduced ‘Cyborg Zoo’ to her fans by displaying the animals the PFL icon has domesticated. In a skit from last year, Cyborg showed fans how one of her farm cows she named Kayla and how she added one more to the group and named her Ronda.

While directly referring to two of the opponents she never got the chance to go one-on-one with, Kayla Harrison and Ronda Rousey. Things went even crazier when, in a recent interview with Bloody Elbow, the PFL Super Fights featherweight champion was asked about if she wanted to bring one more cow to her farm, to which Cyborg gave a hilarious response. She stated, “Good idea, but maybe a different animal, not a cow, but we’ve got two in the farm and they were ready to have on my Instagram, the Cyborg Zoo, so I have a lot of animals and I give them names from like MMA fighters or boxing fighters, and I think they match perfect, you know? The two cows, Kayla and Ronda, perfect match.”

This might probably be one of the funniest jabs fans have seen between two fighters whose rivalry never made it to the stage of a showdown. Even though the timeline never aligned for Cyborg to compete with Rousey since she left the same year as Cyborg’s UFC debut. With this funny response, the PFL fighter has proved that she has not yet forgotten about these two missed fights of her career.
