Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks has hit the headlines once against and this time it is not for a on-court altercation. The 30-year old Canadian, during a live Twitch broadcast with streamer N3on on February 1, 2026, revealed that Gulab Jamun is his favourite Indian dessert.

Coming from a player who has been trending on social media as the league's premier villain, this interaction showcases a different side of Dillon Brooks, where he’s not in a verbal or physical battle with others on court.

In a video shared by streamer N3on, both he and Dillon Brooks were seen enjoying Jamaican food while conversing over various topics, but one topic garnered the biggest reaction, other than calling LeBron James overrated, was his endorsement of the syrupy, milk-based fried balls called Gulab Jamun.

Brooks said, “You know what my favorite Indian dessert is though? It’s Gulab Jamun. It’s fire, man” To this, N3on gave a big, shocked reaction and asked if he had tried to heat it before eating. And Brooks replied, “Yes, I have.” Well, Brooks surely knows how to enjoy the Indian desert.

N3on’s comment, “You are an indian at heart,” could also be a nod to Brooks' roots in Mississauga, a Canadian city known for its vibrant South Asian community and diverse culinary spectrum. This lighthearted moment was definitely a sharp contrast to his smash-mouth on-court persona that has defined his 2025–26 campaign.

Dillon Brooks joined the Phoenix via a seven-team trade in July 2025. This trade sent Kevin Durant to the Rockets and Brooks and Jalen Green to the Suns. Since his joining, Brooks has established himself as a scoring option for the Suns other than Devin Booker. He is currently averaging 21.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, while shooting a career-high 44.6% from the field and 36.0% from beyond the arc.


Brook’s 40-point performance against the Pistons last Thursday at Footprint Center helped the Suns to defeat the East leaders with a 114–96 score. His efficiency has been a cornerstone for the Suns' 30–20 record this season, and he has become the one whom the team relies upon after Booker’s recent ankle sprain.

Over the last ten games, Brooks has maintained an elite level of play, averaging 20.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists while shooting 40.8% from the field and 88.0% from FT.
