“Giannis is a child”: Jaylen Brown expressed disapproval of the Bucks star's fake handshake during the Celtics' victory over the Bucks

The Boston Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 113-107, but the game was overshadowed by a post-game altercation between Jaylen Brown and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Brown called Antetokounmpo "a child" for what he perceived as unsportsmanlike conduct after an offensive foul. Antetokounmpo, however, seemed surprised by Brown's reaction, stating that he was simply joking around.

Brown called Antetokounmpo "a child" for an offensive foul that resulted in a fake handshake attempt. Things got heated after the game as Antetokounmpo said he was surprised by the comments from Brown and with Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla frustrated over missed calls on fouls against his players. Jaylen Brown calls Giannis Antetokounmpo a child

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jaylen Brown were involved in a tussle late in the Boston Celtics' 113-107 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Brown was attempting to spin for a layup as he was covered by Antetokounmpo. Giannis managed to catch Brown with his elbow on the head to collect an offensive foul. Both Giannis and Brown then started jawing, jogging down the court.Giannis apologized for an elbow while running back on defense, but pulled it back, hitting the Celtics star with a "too slow" gesture and grinning ear to ear. Brown was asked about the incident after the game, and he didn't appear to find the situation to be very humorous.
"Giannis is a child. I'm just focused on helping my team get a win. And that's what we did tonight," said Brown.Giannis provided a different perspective on the exchange after the game compared to Brown. "Oh, that's what he said? Dang," said Antetokounmpo, seemingly surprised by Brown's serious-natured reaction. "We always joke around with the flow of the game. It's something that I do to my kids, I play around. This is who I am. I play the game with fun, joy.”Boston moved to 9-2, but the Bucks were at 2-8 after falling behind 11-0 at halftime.
