Matt Barnes urges Dallas Mavericks to build the right environment for Cooper Flagg
Matt Barnes believes the Dallas Mavericks need to create the right environment for Cooper Flagg.
According to Barnes, with veterans around him, Flagg could grow into a key player for the Mavericks.
“Somehow, someway, that was a favor because Dallas wasn’t a bad team; they shouldn’t have been the number one team to get the pick,” Barnes discussed.
“On the flip side, it’s so important as a young player to go to an organization that’s stable, has veterans, and has great leadership. The ownership of the Dallas Mavericks has to show that now, their job is not to f**k it up because they’ve done some questionable things in their short time [since] taking over from Mark Cuban”, he added.
