A 24-year-old Indiana Pacers fan has been arrested for stabbing two New York Knicks fans at a brewery following an altercation related to Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers. He is now facing three charges after allegedly stabbing one person in the back and another in the leg. The police have released information about the incident through their social media platforms.

The Carmel Police Department confirmed the suspect's arrest and shared details in a Facebook post. According to authorities, the incident occurred on Friday night (May 23) at approximately 10:44 p.m. after they received multiple emergency calls reporting a stabbing at a brewery on Meeting House Road. Callers stated that a male suspect had stabbed another man in the back and was still at the location. When officers arrived, they quickly detained the suspect and began administering medical aid.“The investigation revealed that two individuals were injured during the altercation. One male sustained a stab wound to the back and was transported to a local hospital. A second male suffered a stab wound to the lower leg and later sought medical attention on his own,” police said in their statement.
Following the incident, the suspect was taken to the Carmel Police Department for questioning and was later booked into the Hamilton County Jail on the following charges: battery by means of a deadly weapon, basic battery offense, and disorderly conduct.
According to a Fox News report, the suspect told police that he was “punched in the face” by one of the Knicks fans, which led him to retaliate by stabbing the individual.The Indiana Pacers had secured victories in the first two games played at Madison Square Garden, but the New York Knicks bounced back with a win in Game 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
