Klay Thompson Praises His Fellow Team Mate Kyrie Irving, Calls Him The Best Shooter

It is difficult to find talented athletes openly praising and supporting each other nowadays. Recently, Dallas Maverick’s Klay Thompson had really great words to share about his fellow teammate Kyrie Irving. The popular point guard is one of the finest players in the Dallas Mavericks team. After dominating the Orleans Pelican in the recent face-off, the Mavericks shooting guard lauded Kyrie Irving for his phenomenal shooting style.

The Orleans Pelican fell flat in front of the talented team of the Dallas Mavericks. After defeating the Pelicans, Klay Thompson, Jason Kidd, Naji Marshal, and Luca Doncic appeared for an interview. From discussing their victory to praising their talented teammate Kyrie Irving, - they spoke about almost every aspect of their team.
While talking about Irving, Klay Thompson said that he enjoyed playing with his talented teammate. He said-
"It's amazing. I've played with Kyrie on USA teams. I've faced him plenty of times, had to guard him plenty of times, so it's nice not having to deal with that anymore,"
While talking about Kyrie Irving’s body language, Thompson even mentioned that it was a blessing to be his guard.
"He's so amazing with his body control, his handle, his shot. He's really one of one, and it's a blessing to be his two guard."
He further added-
"He's one of the best shooters I've ever played with. He's a 3-point contest champion, and he's incredibly efficient. Just look at his career numbers. It's ridiculous."
Klay Thompson even made a straightforward statement about his efficiency as a player. He said-
"I don't really care how many shots I get. I just want to be as efficient as I possibly can. I still know I have another level to get too... I'll have some really big nights here in the future. I can feel it."
After defeating the Orleans Pelican, the Mavericks would be facing the Denver Nuggets.

After winning against the Orleans Pelican, Jason Kidd spoke about Kyrie Irving during the post-game interview. Kidd praised his shooting style and mentioned that it is way too underappreciated. Jason Kidd said-
"Maybe it gets lost a little bit. You're talking about one of the best players in the world. Some things are gonna get talked about a little bit more.
He further added-
“His handle and his finishing are the best in the world, and so, I think sometimes his shooting is probably lost."
