The Philadelphia 76ers currently have 14 wins and 19 defeats so far, however, the optimism in the team is still intact as Paul George has recently shared new details of the team’s chemistry. In a recent interview, the 34-year-old candidly reflected on the injury concern in the team, “The injuries just haven’t been on our side, but I think we’re gelling,” George said following their latest road trip.George went on to add that the teammates have been in good coordination, We’re starting to enjoy each other out on the floor. The stuff off the court is starting to trickle on the court, and that’s a great sign.”From the point of view of George, the most important thing is bonding and good communication. Despite their concerning winning statistics this season, George is certainly optimistic for the team’s future. “We should have easily gone 5-1 this trip.
But more than anything, we gelled, we bonded. It was just great for us to be together. Road trips are really where teams come out strong,” he added. The 76ers are showing signs of improvement. Embiid leading the charge with MVP-level performances on both ends of the floor. Tyrese Maxey has stepped up, taking on greater responsibilities in clutch moments. Meanwhile, George's leadership has been key in keeping the team focused. But the challenges for the team are far from fading away as Embiid’s back-to-back injuries have been a major concern and Maxey and George have a bigger responsibility on the court to deal with if Emiid’s absence occurs again in the near future. Embiid has played the Sixers’ latest game against the Brooklyn Nets claiming the 123-94 victory. The Cameroonian-American star led the team to victory with 28 points, 6 assists, and 12 rebounds while Maxey and George added 18 and 17 points respectively. Also Read: Anthony Davis records NBA history against RocketsUp next, the Sixers are set to face the Phoenix Suns on January 6 in a highly anticipated matchup but they already have three players listed as questionable for the upcoming game.
