Why isn’t Seth Curry playing tonight? Stephen Curry’s brother still searching for a steady role with the Golden State Warriors

Seth Curry, the brother of Golden State Warriors legend Stephen Curry, has been waiting to join the team for a long time. Given his talent in shooting, Curry was seen to be a smart addition at the start of the month. However, as of now, he hasn't gotten the minutes he probably hoped for.

The announcement was made about two weeks after junior Curry made his Golden State Warriors debut along with his brother. This was a very emotional occasion after Seth Curry's difficult career. Ayesha Curry, his sister-in-law and businesswoman, knew this all too well. She told him how happy she was with Seth Curry's fantastic Warriors debut and had a very important message for him.

In an attempt to improve its offence, the Golden State Warriors signed Seth Curry to join Stephen Curry. Since joining the legendary team on December 1, Curry has only played in two games, which may indicate that Steve Kerr doesn't view the 35-year-old as a regular rotational player.

Curry has participated in most of the Warriors' recent games despite dealing with a couple of injuries. Meanwhile, Kerr doesn't feel comfortable giving him a bigger role on his underperforming Western Conference team.






Kerr recently clarified why the Warriors' early-December signee didn't play in the game after Curry's match against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. He said:

“It’s not easy to just throw guys in there randomly after they haven’t been in the rotation in the first three-quarters. He’s definitely going to help us at times, but this wasn’t his night, and we went in another direction.”

After the quad injury of Stephen Curry, Seth stepped up and scored 14 points in a nearly flawless performance with 6-of-7 shooting, including two shots from beyond the arc. The Warriors re-signed Curry on a one-year contract Monday after he split with them just before camp. He debuted in front of his home crowd the next day.

Curry ignored the 112-124 loss. The guard expressed his strong emotions about playing in the Bay in an Instagram post. He wrote in the caption:

“Felt Like Home! Thankful to be back out there on the big stage."

Seth's heartfelt remark was shared on Instagram by Ayesha. After that, she sent a heartfelt message and wrote:

“Very exciting! Very well deserved. Very cool. Let’s gooooo @sdotcurry @calliecurry Whole fam locked in.”

While the NBA's top 3-point shooter recovers, Seth Curry's presence gives the Warriors another offensive option.
