D’Angelo Russell’s Brooklyn Nets are gearing up for their game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, January 14, at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The game is scheduled to go live at 10 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on KATU, KUNP, and YES Network. Fans can also stream the action via NBA League Pass and Fubo TV, subject to regional restrictions.
Despite being an anticipated matchup, the Brooklyn Nets find themselves in a tough spot, grappling with multiple injuries to key players. Currently sitting 12th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 13-26 record, Brooklyn has struggled to find its footing this season.

Brooklyn Nets major injury concerns include D’Angelo Russell

The Brooklyn Nets' key player, D'Angelo Russelll, is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game. The ex-Lakers star is sidelined for the last four games due to a right shin contusion and this remains a significant concern for the team.
Besides D’Angelo Russell, Ben Simmons is also listed as questionable. He is dealing with a combination of lower back issues and left knee soreness. Even though he played during Brooklyn’s narrow loss to the Utah Jazz on Sunday, he continues to manage his recovery.

Adding to the team’s injury woes, Nic Claxton is also questionable due to right hamstring tightness, though he too participated in the recent Jazz game. Cam Johnson, frequently involved in trade rumors ahead of the February 7 trade deadline, has been sidelined for five consecutive games with a right ankle sprain and is uncertain to return against the Trail Blazers.
The Brooklyn Nets will also be without several key contributors for Tuesday’s contest. Trendon Watford (left hamstring strain), Bojan Bogdanovic (left foot injury recovery), Maxwell Lewis (left tibia fracture), De'Anthony Melton (left ACL tear), and Cam Thomas (left hamstring strain) are all confirmed absentees.
Facing a depleted roster, the Nets must overcome significant obstacles to turn their season around. With D’Angelo Russell and Simmons’ availability hanging in the balance, Brooklyn will have to dig deep to compete against a Trail Blazers team eager to capitalize on their opponent’s misfortunes.
