NEW DELHI, May 10: In the first ODI between Bangladesh and India at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday, Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first.
Bangladesh cricketers Javed Omar and Tamim Iqbal are currently at the crease. The opening pair have put the Bangladesh score to 14 at the end of three overs.
Earlier in the day it was drizzling at Mirpur and the covers were on the field.

Due to rain delay, the match has been reduced to 47 overs - a side game. Considering that the wicket is dry, Bangladesh skipper Habibul Bashar reckons a score of around 240 runs on the track.
Although there are cracks on the wicket, they don't appear too significant and are unlikely to open up during the course of the game. Indian skipper Rahul Dravid expects it to grip, which makes the Bangladesh spin trio crucial.
