MELBOURNE: The Australians may have won the Test series against India, but the visitors managed to instill some fear on the dint of their batting form in the four-match series.
Talking to the media at the Melbourne Airport after the Aussies arrived from Sydney,
James Faulkner said he was pretty impressed by how the Indian batsmen went about their business in the Tests.
"It was a very good Test series despite the lop-sided result as the Indian batsmen were in pretty good touch,
Virat Kohli was in top form," said the bowling all-rounder.
Faulkner felt that the Indians were likely to carry the same form into their tri-series, but added that he and his bowlers would be ready.
"There is no doubting that they are going to be tough tomorrow. It's going to be a good high-scoring One-day contest."
