DDCA finally forms cricket improvement committee
NEW DELHI: The Delhi and District Cricket Association has finally formed a 13-member cricket improving committee under the chairmanship of its president Arun Jaitley to prevent incidents like the 2009 Ferozeshah Kotla pitch fiasco happening in near future.
The demand for such a committee had gained ground for a long time and the pitch episode, which led to the abandonment of the India-Sri Lanka ODI in 2009, had triggered a wave of protests against the current office bearers.
