MUMBAI: Tamil Nadu all-rounder Chandrasekar Ganapathy will replace Karnataka speedstar Abhimanyu Mithun in the India 'A' team that is currently on a month-long tour of England.
Mithun was recently sent to Zimbabwe as a replacement for his senior state-mate R Vinay Kumar, who suffered a knee injury ahead of India's game against Sri Lanka in the tri-nation cricket series in Bulawayo.
"The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked C Ganapathy (right-handed batsman and paceman) as Abhimanyu Mithun's replacement, in the India 'A' team that is presently touring the UK," BCCI secretary N Srinivasan said in a release.
