Khanapurkar scalps seven for Customs

MUMBAI: A seven wicket haul by stocky leg-spinner Parag Khanapurkar helped Mumbai Customs restrict Rashtriya Chemicals and Ferilizers to 145 on Day Two of the Times Shield 'B' Division Cricket Tournament at the RCF Ground in Chembur on Tuesday. Customs who had earlier posted a mammoth total of 541-8 decl. in the first innings were 45-0 at the draw of stumps in their second Innings.Khanapurkar returned with remarkable figures of 16.5-6-32-7.
The game between Western Railway and Mumbai Port Trust saw 21 wickets fall as Western were bowled out for 136 where left-arm spinner Yogesh Dicholkar (6-28) and off-spinner Pawan Kumar (4-52) did all the damage at the Western Railway Ground in Mahalaxmi. However, Western hit back to bowl MPT for 128 as spinners Kishor Gohil (5-37) and Atish Walinjkar (3-35) shared the spoils.
