KARACHI: Reacting to Moin Khan's Rs 100 million suit against the Pakistan Cricket Board, the PCB on Friday sent a legal notice to the former stumper threatening to sue him for Rs 250 million and accused him of mis-stating facts in his petition.
Moin, is his defamation suit, stated that the Board had caused irrepairable damage to his reputation by propogating that he was working as an agent for the 'rebel' Indian Cricket League.

However, Tafazzul Rizvi, the legal counsel for the PCB said he had served a counter notice to the former captain for a defamation suit of Rs 250 million as Moin had allegedly misled the honorable court.
"Moin Khan has sent us a notice and we have replied to it. The notice I think was sent by him under some misunderstanding for he did not know what he was trying to say as there are a lot of mis-statements at the moment," Rizvi said.
He said Moin has accepted the fact that he was working as Mohammad Yousuf's agent and had taken the money that was paid by the ICL.
"The reality is that Moin was the person who was approaching different players in Pakistan and signing and enrolling them for ICL and the same happened with Yousuf and interestingly in his notice to us, Moin has accepted that the money which was paid to Yousuf on behalf of ICL was paid to him," Rizvi stated.
"So basically he has accepted that he is the agent of ICL and so now we have sent our reply and have also requested Moin that he should help fellow Pakistani players if he is a patriot."
