South Africa fined again for slow over-rate

DUBAI: For the second match on the trot, South Africa were fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during their six-wicket defeat against Australia in the second Twenty20 International in Brisbane.
Match referee Ranjan Madugalle, in accordance with the ICC Code of Conduct regulations governing over-rate penalties, fined captain Johan Botha 10 per cent of his match fee while his team-mates were docked five percent of the amount.
Madugalle's decision came after South Africa were found one over short when time allowances were taken into consideration, the ICC said in a statement.
Botha and his men were handed similar fines for being one over short in the first Twenty20 international match in Melbourne on Sunday which Australia won by 52 runs.
