CHENNAI: Having obtained a vital 89-run lead in the first innings, Tamil Nadu, who were dismissed for 352 in their first essay, were 39 for one in their second innings against Karnataka at the end of the third and penultimate day's play in the under-19 semi final cricket match for the C K Nayudu Trophy.
At close, opener L Surya Prakash (15) and M Kaushik Gandhi (18) were at the crease.

Earlier, Karnataka, who were 95 for 3 overnight, were all out for 263 in 111 overs with Nitin Bhille top scoring with 65 (149b, 7 X4) and Ganesh Satish chipping in with 56 (115b, 5 X 4).
Aditya B Sagar made 26 (2 X 4 and 1 X 6). Bhille and Sagar put on 62 runs in 25.3 overs for the seventh wicket and then Bhille in the company of M R Darshan (6) added 60 runs off 17.4 overs for the eighth wicket.
Tamil Nadu medium pacers L Vignesh (2-66) and Garry Dumenil (4-34) and off spinner M Prabhu (2-84) were the most successful bowlers.
