VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) president D V Subba Rao hoped that the
BCCI would allot more international matches to the ACA-VDCA stadium saying that it had the necessary infrastructure to do so.
Rao also expressed happiness over India's win against Sri Lanka in the finals of the U-19 quadrangular series which concluded on Sunday.
He said the U-19 team managers, coaches of Sri Lanka, Australia and West Indies had expressed their satisfaction over the ground conditions and infrastructure and the hospitality of the organisers.
ACA secretary G Gangaraju said the association would take all steps to impress the BCCI to allot Test matches in Visakhapatnam. The ACA will also try for IPL matches to be conducted in Visakhapatnam, he added.
