Western Railway record outright victory

MUMBAI: Western Railway 'A' was the only team to record an outright win in the second round of the Times Shield 'B' Division. They defeated Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizer by seven wickets at the Cross Maidan.
Harshad Bhojnaik (124, 2x6, 14x4) along with left arm spinners Vinayak Bhoir (7-47, in the first innings) and Atish Walinjkar 7-51,in the 2nd innings) were the architects of the victory.
Meanwhile, Mumbai middle-order batsman Hiken Shah slammed an unbeaten 131 to help Mumbai Customs beat Bank of India on the first innings lead basis.

Mumbai Port Trust 93 (J Davne 5-19, V Singh 3-30) and 150 for 4 (N Kadam 85*, A Shetty 30) lost to Serco 321 for 9 decl. (N Shaikh 129, P Dengle 82; A Shaikh 5-94) on the first innings.
