Ever since the news broke out, that the New York Jets are hiring the Detroit Lions’ defensive coordinator, Aaron Glenn, everybody is pouring in some of their conceptions. Out of those is one former wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Keyshawn Johnson. He shared that Aaron Glenn, as the Jets head coach, would not have quarterback Aaron Rodgers in his team from day 1!

On the SPEAK show, the Super Bowl champion, Keyshawn Johnson, discussed the X post of Jordan Schultz, “BREAKING: The #Jets are hiring #Lions DC Aaron Glenn as their new HC, multiple sources tell @NFLonFOX”. The WR said, “The Jets situation is phenomenal, they got players. Glenn can set a different type of culture in New York. He’s not the typical quiet, not gonna say anything. He’s gonna challenge his players just like he did as the defender.”

“If Aaron Glenn starts his Jets career with Aaron Rodgers, then I’m walking from Calabasas at 4 AM in the morning to the studio with nothing on but boxers.” - challenges Keyshawn Johnson

Johnson is open for a bet. He said on the SPEAK show: “He (Aaron Glenn) will not start off his career, nobody else is saying this, he will no start off his career with Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback in September. And, if he does, then I’m walking from Calabasas at 4 AM in the morning to the studio with nothing on but boxers.”

On the SPEAK show, Keyshawn repeatedly hollered that Aaron Glenn would not start off his career as a head coach for the Jets with QB Rodgers. He said,“I’m just telling you, he ain’t gonna start his career with that mess. He can’t go in with that type of disruption. I don’t know if he’s going in with a rookie quarterback. But I know that ain’t gonna be Aaron Rodgers.”

The WR shared a personal story on the SPEAK show and said, “AG (Aaron Glenn) has been a friend of mine since high school. We played on two different teams together. We’ve traveled the world together.”

Johnson said he doesn't need to talk to Aaron Glenn about his decision to keep the quarterback. He knows Glenn’s mentors. And his mentors would say the same thing - “And those mentors? They ain’t going in with Aaron Rodgers. So I know damn well, that he (Aaron Glenn) ain’t going to do it. Because they’re going to tell him, that ain’t going to set you up for nothing but a failure.”

Keyshawn labeled Aaron Rodgers a burden
