Cooper Kupp is back on the
Super Bowl stage in his first season with the Seattle Seahawks, and his wife, Anna Marie Kupp, is not hiding what the moment means to their family. As Seattle pushes through a postseason run that few expected, her words have drawn attention not just for what they celebrate, but for what they quietly address.
In a series of Instagram posts shared in late January, Anna Marie reflected on the month that ended with the Seahawks earning the NFC’s No. 1 seed and advancing to the Super Bowl. The message landed at a time when Kupp’s on-field role, contract, and future in Seattle are being openly debated.
Anna Marie Kupp Frames January as Gratitude, Not Noise, During Seahawks’ Super Bowl Push
Anna Marie shared a photo dump on Instagram that mixed family moments, Seahawks celebrations, and behind-the-scenes glimpses from January. Her caption focused on gratitude and stability during a season that moved fast.
“January. Counting my lucky stars and acknowledging the work that was done to have the peace and joy that was felt this month. Thankful for stillness and presence in this life that is full and fast,” she wrote.
She went on to connect that gratitude directly to football and community.
“The sunrises, sunsets, birthdays, lost teeth, running in the rain, playing and laughing loudly, baking and cooking, working with an amazing team on some really special projects for @dodocoffeeco, taking the #1 seed in the NFC, advancing to the Super Bowl in one of the most meaningful games of Cooper’s career.
All with our incredible community showing up big for us. Thankful.”
Anna Marie later posted again after attending the NFC Championship Game, sharing a brief caption that nodded to Kupp’s jersey number.
“Cloud 10.”
The posts included images of her on the field, moments with their children, and a sideline kiss with Kupp after the win. The tone stayed consistent. Gratitude. Family. No scoreboard talk.
Cooper Kupp’s On-Field Role, Contract Questions, and More
Kupp joined the Seahawks in 2025 after spending his entire career with the Los Angeles Rams through the 2024 season. He signed a three-year, $45 Million deal and entered a wide receiver room that quickly became led by Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Statistically, Kupp’s regular-season production dipped. He finished the 2025 season with 47 receptions for 593 yards and two touchdowns across 16 games. His $17.5 Million cap hit for 2026 has already placed him in cap-casualty conversations.
Bleacher Report’s Alex Ballentine outlined that reality in a January 29, 2026 report, noting Seattle’s flexibility but also the financial weight attached to Kupp’s deal.
“Not only are they the potential Super Bowl champions, but they have enough money that they don’t actually have to have cap casualties,” Ballentine wrote. “But it needs to be recognized that Cooper Kupp is probably a luxury at this point.”
Despite that, Kupp’s value has shown up in ways that do not always hit the box score. During the playoff run, he has blocked for Smith-Njigba, played situational roles, and contributed when needed, including a touchdown catch in the NFC Championship Game.
Smith-Njigba made that impact clear in a November 23, 2025 interview with DAZN’s Romain Champagne. “Coop instantly elevates the entire room,” he said. “Every step, every release, every route has a purpose.”
