Jerry Jones has stated that he will not be active at the upcoming NFL trade deadline

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has stated that the team will not be active before the November 5 NFL trade deadline and will not make any major changes to the head coach or coordinator positions. However, Jones acknowledges the need for improvement in several areas during practice. Jones announced the team's stance ahead of the trade deadline, expressing optimism about their winning recipe with the players already in the building after Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions.Jones' comments come after the Cowboys' 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions, the fifth-largest loss in franchise history and the second 20-plus-point loss of the season, following a 44-19 dismantling from the New Orleans Saints.
The Cowboys' 3-3 start is their worst since 2020, and the last time Dallas failed to reach the playoffs. However, head coach Mike Jones believes there are no personnel issues and focuses on internal issues to turn the season around. The Cowboys have allowed the ninth-most yards per game and the third-most points per game in six games. Dak Prescott has started the season well, accumulating 1,602 passing yards and eight touchdowns. However, his main issue has been six interceptions, four of which occurred in the past two games. The Cowboys have posted 11 turnovers, the second-most in the NFL, and many of their issues can be corrected without trades. The Cowboys' ability to address these issues will determine their playoff performance. Also Read: The Minnesota Vikings trade picks RB Cam Akers from the Houston Texans in a deal involving conditional draft selections
