The New Orleans Saints sent shockwaves on Monday when the team fired head coach Dennis Allen, who became the second midseason coaching change of the year. Sources at ESPN say that this season, Allen has had a disappointing record of 2-7 and wraps up his stint with the Saints at 18-25 overall. That came after a stint as Oakland Raiders head coach from 2012 to 2014, meaning so far in his career, Allen has a record of 26-53. The second consecutive season of Allen's contract termination suggests something was amiss with the work he was doing.
Games to Watch
Now that the Rams have set up games ahead, they are currently to face the Saints on Week 14. Perhaps a change in coach can make things even worse for the Saints team, therefore increasing the unpredictability that the game might be shown with. Besides, only a month ago, Robert Saleh, the head coach of the Jets was sacked. The Rams will also face the Jets in Week 16, so they will be dealing with two interim head coaches in their remaining schedule.

How NFL Players InvestStability Among Other Coaches
For now, the other head coaches that remain on the Rams' list appear to be in good standing with their respective positions. Others like Mike McDaniel, Jerod Mayo, Nick Sirianni, and Kyle Shanahan all appear well-secured and in the safe zone as things continue to unfold within the season.
Again, however, things can change pretty fast with the NFL's nature. As teams assess where they are at present, it is pretty possible that many more coaches will lose their jobs; hence, everybody remains vigilant as things keep unfolding.
A Season of Uncertainty
This comes at a time when the NFL season is already well underway, and in such a scenario, one is reminded of the heavy pressures that coaches face as they seek to make it successful. The stakes are very high, and such decisions made now can forever impact the future. Indeed, the next few weeks are crucial for the teams and the coaching staff involved in such scenarios.
