“Salute to Service Award” post shared by 49ers TE George Kittle’s wife, Claire

Claire Kittle is George Kittle's proud wife. For one, the San Francisco 49ers tight end is a devout worshipper of the veteran’s community because of his Uncle Pat and Grandfather Carl. And, for two, he has hosted military families and frontline heroes at every NFL game by offering 400 tickets for six years.Claire, the triumphant WAG, shared a post posted by the official account of the San Francisco 49ers on her Instagram story. The post displayed “George Kittle” as the selected finalist for the Salute to Service award. The other two finalists are Aaron Rodgers and Morgan Fox.At the ‘Move The Chains’ episode of the ‘1st & 10’ podcast show, the San Francisco 49ers’ TE was asked, “You started a tradition of hosting military families at the Niners game. When did the tradition start and why is it important for you to keep it going?”George responded, “We started in 2021. We’ve always wanted to give back to the military. There was a time when we sent a family to the Super Bowl through the Niners military family. We have done over 400 tickets on the road, at home, and in playoffs. Football can be such a fun experience. Kids have so much fun. Everybody loves watching football, so we’re just trying to give them something fun to do on the weekend. But also show them, how big of a fan we’re of them and how much we support them.”The host of the podcast show asked, “You and your entire Kittle family treat these families to a 49ers experience. What do you think these families take away from it and what do you take away from these moments?”George humbly replied, “All I hope they take away from it is they have support from everybody in the 49ers organization. What I take back is being able to give back just a little bit, like a football ticket. They need more people to go out of their way to support them.
