"Please keep me in your prayers": Former NFL star Randy Moss shares an unfortunate health update

This year’s NFL has a lot of stories to tell; from coaches being fired immediately without any notice, and players dealing with serious injuries to players getting engaged, every day there is a new controversy and a new story. But in one of the saddest and most unfortunate stories, former NFL star Randy Moss is unwell. Fans are heartbroken as they realise the legendary wide receiver is dealing with serious health issues.

The Achievements of the Former NFL Star Randy Moss

Born in 1977, Moss became an NFL star after playing for 14 seasons. In these 14 seasons, he has managed to play for all the strongest teams in the league which included the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots to name a few. He also managed to have two records in his name.

Is Randy Moss Unwell?

While Sunday started a normal match day for the NFL teams, when Moss appeared on the ESPN’s Sunday NFL Coutndown show, he sported a look that was different from his usual since he wore sunglasses. Before fans bombarded him with questions, in a heartbreaking statement, he revealed he has been battling an illness. He appeared gracious and chose not to reveal what illness he was talking about. He said, "I just wanted to let the viewers know that me and my wife and my family are battling something internally. I have some great doctors around me,"

The Commitment and Love for NFL

As he made this heartbreaking statement, he revealed he did not want to miss the show and has been feeling better. He also added his sunglasses are due to his illness and he does not want to disrespect anyone.

As he revealed this, his cohosts. Mike Greenberg, Rex Ryan, Alex Smith and Tedy Bruschi. also took out sunglasses and wore them to show their support and love for Randy Moss. The fans were emotional at the sight of this. Many showered praises on the co hosts for their gesture while others were worried for Moss.
