The Los Angeles Rams found an unlikely ally in Major League Baseball as they prepared for their Week 7 clash against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Instead of returning to California after defeating the Ravens in Baltimore, the Rams stayed behind and turned Camden Yards — home of the Orioles — into their temporary practice ground.

Rams practice at Camden Yards before London trip

On Wednesday, the usually baseball-only field at Camden Yards transformed into a makeshift football facility. The setup wasn’t quite what the Rams are used to, but it worked. The grounds featured two smaller fields — one 25 yards and another 60 — laid out across the outfield near the infield. Even uprights were installed so the special teams could run through their drills.
Players like Davante Adams and his teammates took the change in stride, enjoying the novelty of running routes in a baseball park. It wasn’t the sprawling turf of SoFi Stadium, but the experience added an element of fun and focus before the long flight across the Atlantic. The Maryland Stadium Authority, which oversees both Oriole Park and nearby M&T Bank Stadium, approved the Rams’ use of the facility earlier this month. The Rams are covering the operating expenses for the week and plan to continue practicing at Camden Yards through Friday before departing for London.

Sean McVay grateful for Orioles’ hospitality

Head coach Sean McVay made sure to express his gratitude for the Orioles’ gesture. “Just want to thank the Baltimore Orioles,” McVay said. “What an amazing opportunity, and really, just how gracious they've been to offer up the opportunity to be able to use their facilities. And it's a really cool thing for our players, and hopefully it's going to lead to a great week of preparation. Had a good walkthrough, looking forward to having a good practice. So, very grateful for them.”
For the Rams, this collaboration made logistical sense — saving time, easing travel fatigue, and allowing uninterrupted preparation before facing the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium. The two teams will kick off their international matchup on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET, with Los Angeles hoping their unique week of training pays off on the London stage. Also Read: Madison Beer steals the spotlight with sultry look at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show as romance with Justin Herbert heats up
