The Kansas City Chiefs are at 10-1 although they are the back-to-back champions and have amassed 18 straight wins in their last 19 games. Still, they are below par this season. Although with a good record, the team senses its weakness, but with
Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs continue to find ways to stay in the hunt, despite what seems to happen against them.
Although with a good record, the Chiefs senses its weakness
The Chiefs defeated the worst record in the last two years even though they dominated the first three quarters, increasing an 11-point lead. Bryce Young tied the game, but Mahomes is likely to secure his 100th win, as he boasts a career record of 99-26, in the NFL's first-ever Black Friday game against the Raiders.
The Chiefs might be even better than that, not just because they can grind out big wins but also because of pedigree and experience. Injuries have certainly slowed them down. And yet, the stats on The Pat McAfee Show episode showed that for all their brilliance at grinding out close wins, the Chiefs are still an elite team-at "situational football."
The Chiefs, known for their winning skills and ability to win close, high-stakes games, pose a threat to other teams in the playoffs, but have had fewer double-digit leads than 20 of the league's 32 teams this season.
The fact that the team wins games by one score in seven of the last eight playoff games indicates a winning ability but also puts rivals in a similar position, with who makes a mistake or scores at the end potentially winning.

He continued, "You want to have some blowouts and be a little calmer in the fourth quarter, But I've always said it can be a good thing as you get to the playoffs, just knowing that you've been in those moments before and how to attack it play by play.”
