NEW DELHI: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is refuting claims of filing for divorce, contrary to court documents indicating the initiation of the legal process in Florida on Monday. The 29-year-old
NFL star is seeking the dissolution of his marriage to Keeta Vaccaro, whom he married in November 2023 during the Dolphins' bye week, as revealed by Broward County court records.
Despite the official court records, Hill took to X on Tuesday to vehemently deny the divorce development. He responded to a post from the Sun-Sentinel, which reported the divorce filing, stating, "Boy no the heck we didn't, so don't put that in the air!!! We are happily married and gone stay that way."
Hill's recent denial contrasts with his public acknowledgment of his marriage to Keeta Vaccaro back in November. The wide receiver confirmed the union in the Dolphins locker room, expressing the joy of finally marrying his longtime fiancée during the bye week. The couple tied the knot in Austin, Texas, on November 8, according to records obtained by TMZ.
The engagement took place at a Fourth of July party in 2021, marking a significant step in their relationship. Hill shared that he informed his Chiefs teammates, including quarterback
Patrick Mahomes, about joining the "fiancé club," receiving a positive and supportive reaction.
However, Hill's life in the spotlight has seen a series of noteworthy events in recent months. On January 3, a fire ravaged most of his $6.9 million mansion in Southwest Ranches, Florida. Authorities later determined that a child inside the house accidentally started the blaze while playing with a cigarette lighter.
