But which city has hosted the most Super Bowls in history?The answer is a tie, Miami and New Orleans are tied for hosting the most Super Bowls. Both cities have hosted the NFL’s biggest game 11 times, more than any other location.

Miami and New Orleans Super Bowl history

Miami has been a regular Super Bowl destination since the late 1960s. The city has hosted games at both the Orange Bowl and Hard Rock Stadium. The warm weather, strong tourism setup and modern stadium facilities have made Miami a favorite for the NFL.
Miami has consistently been part of Super Bowl history, from Super Bowl II in 1968 to Super Bowl LIV in 2020. New Orleans has also matched Miami by hosting 11 Super Bowl games. The city hosted early games at Tulane Stadium before moving to the iconic Caesars Superdome, formerly known as the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.The Superdome has been the main venue for most of the city’s Super Bowls, including the most recent one in 2025. Like Miami, New Orleans offers strong hospitality, entertainment and infrastructure, which makes it a popular choice.
After Miami and New Orleans, Los Angeles ranks third with eight Super Bowls. The city has hosted games at multiple stadiums, including the Rose Bowl and SoFi Stadium.Tampa followed with five Super Bowls, including the historic 2021 edition when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers became the first team to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

How to watch Super Bowl LX

Santa Clara will host Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium. This will be only the second time the city has hosted the game. The first was Super Bowl 50 in 2016.The game will be broadcast live on NBC in the United States. Fans can also stream the game on Peacock. Spanish-language coverage will be available on Telemundo and Universo.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET. The pregame coverage will begin earlier in the day, featuring analysis, player interviews and entertainment performances.As always, the Super Bowl is expected to draw millions of viewers worldwide, whether they are watching the game, the halftime show or the commercials.
