ESPNW recently in collaboration with Katherine Eliss and Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, shared a post where the two women were spotted talking about how Connor McDavid met Lauren. Out of League’s podcast host, Katherine Eliss’ is seen asking Connor McDavid’s wife about how they met.
Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, says, “My, you know who Luke Gazdic is? We’re like kind of on a blind-ish date in Toronto. And then, that was like 10 years ago now, so”.
To this, Katherine Eliss sounds shocked since it is been a long time since the two are together even though Connor McDavid tied the knot with Lauren Kyle only last year. Katherine Eliss then asks how old they were when they met and Lauren Kyle answers that she was nineteen while Connor McDavid was only eighteen.
Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle then recollects a hilarious story from their first blind date. She says, “It was funny because I like had to like use my ID to get us a bottle of wine because he was like kind of underage.”
Out of League’s podcast host, Katherine Eliss laughs as she hears the hilarious story of what actually happened when the star player, Connor McDavid went on the first blind date with his now wife, Lauren Kyle a decade ago.
Both Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle have mostly kept their relationship pretty private. The two dated each other for several years and tied the knot last night but they have not shared a lot of pictures from their wedding on social media.
Team Canada’s win against Team Finland has gained them an entry to the final where they face Team USA again on Thursday.
