Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of prominent Mumbai industrialist Ravi Ghai, comes from one of the city’s most respected business families. The Ghai family owns the InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery ice cream brand and has extensive interests in hospitality and food businesses through Graviss Group.
Despite her influential family background, Saaniya has maintained a low public profile, quietly supporting family ventures while preparing for her life alongside Arjun Tendulkar.

While he has followed in his father’s footsteps on the cricket field, Saaniya’s presence brings a different dimension to the Tendulkar household, symbolising the merging of two prominent Mumbai families.
