Bhopal win inter-region lawn tennis

BHOPAL: Bhopal won the team title in inter-regional tennis competition organised by Madhya Pradesh Central Region Power Distribution Company. Jabalpur stood second, while Birsinghpur thermal power plant came third.
DK Bhandari won the best player title and Prashant Dube was adjudged emerging player the competition. Neeraj Agrawal of Bhopal won the singles title, while Shakeel Parvez (Birsinghpur) was the runner-up.Duo of Neeraj Agrawal and Shakeel Parvez won the doubles title beating AK Alang and Mahendra Soni.
In the inter-region carom competition, Sarni thermal power plant won the title, while Sagar Region stood second. In the singles, Pradeep Singh (Sagar region) stood first, Syed Riaz Mohammad (Sarni) and Mukesh Kumar Gupta (Jabalpur central office) came second and third respectively.
