Brie Bella lands scathing attack on Artem Chigvintsev after authorities drop all charges against him

The Artem Chigvintsev case recently saw a new development when the Napa County District Attorney Office announced that they have decided not to file criminal charges against him. WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella’s estranged husband Chigvintsev was arrested on August 29 in Napa Valley, California, on suspicion of domestic violence. However, the Dancing with the Stars alum will not be prosecuted due to lack of sufficient evidence.



In light of this new development, Nikki Bella’s twin sister Brie has spoken out publicly, expressing her disappointment and throwing shade at Chigvintsev. The Bella Twin took to her Instagram to post a cryptic message which was clearly directed at Chigvintsev.

“The truth always comes out in the end,” posts Brie Bella

On September 25, a day after the announcement of his exoneration, Brie Bella posted an Instagram story where she penned a cryptic note, calling Chigvintsev a “liar.” The message read, “The truth always comes out in the end, no matter how hard anyone tried to hide it or stop it. Lies are just a temporary delay to the inevitable.”

Brie noted that the message was credited to “Narcissistic Personality Disorder Mother Facebook Resource Page.” The note didn’t directly mention Chigvintsev, but since the post came immediately after the announcement, fans put two and two together and concluded that it was definitely an attack on him.



Following his exoneration from the domestic violence charges, Chigvintsev finally broke his silence on the matter and gave his first official statement. Speaking with E! News, the DWTS alum stated, "I am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped. This has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed."

He went on to share that his primary concern is his and Nikki Bella’s son Matteo. "He is my world, and being his father is the greatest blessing in my life. All along, my main concern has been for him. I am committed to continuing to provide him with the love, support, and care he needs as we move forward. I am hopeful that securing an equal custody arrangement will help us move on."

Chigvintsev concluded by expressing his gratitude to his family, friends and legal team. He said, “Your support has been invaluable, and I am thankful to everyone who believed in me and saw the truth for what it was."

Nikki Garcia filed for divorce from Chigvintsev in September 2024, and is now living with their four year old son Matteo. Garcia is yet to make any official statements on the matter.
