Can John Cena’s Win at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 Lead to a Major Record Being Set at WrestleMania?

John Cena is aiming to win the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber match to secure a spot in the WrestleMania 41 main event against Cody Rhodes. A victory would tie him for the most World Championship matches at WrestleMania, marking a milestone in Cena's farewell tour.

John Cena's potential win inside the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber can set a spectacular WrestleMania record for him.
John Cena is gearing up for his last chance to earn the opportunity to main event his last WrestleMania for the World Championship this year in Las Vegas. He is set to compete in the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber match at the namesake event next month in Toronto, Canada.
There is heavy speculation that Cena would emerge as the winner of the bout. Should that actually happen, the 16-time WWE Champion would lay claim to a spectacular record at WrestleMania.

Which WrestleMania record can John Cena lay claim to if he wins the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber?

John Cena, unlike other competitors in the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber match, called his shot for a spot in the match than compete to qualify. Following his failure to win the 2025 Royal Rumble match, it is rumored that he is the heavy favorite to win the chamber match.
This potential win will guarantee him a chance to compete for his 17th World Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 against the reigning Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. Should that happen, John Cena will tie with current WWE CCO Triple H for having the most World Championship matches at WrestleMania with nine.

This would be an excellent new record added to the illustrious resume and that too, on the last leg of his career, as Cena is currently on his farewell tour. However, tying for that record would not be an easy task for The Cenation Leader. The field in the Elimination Chamber match is a star-studded lineup along with Cena, all of whom won their respective qualifying matches on RAW and SmackDown leading up to the event.
The match features top stars like CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Seth Rollins. Despite that, it is still expected that John Cena will be the one to walk out the winner. A previous report by Dave Meltzer stated that John Cena has been penciled in to win the chamber match since October or November. The fans are looking forward to this happening after Cena did not win the Men's Royal Rumble this year.
His failure in the Rumble match disappointed a lot of fans worldwide. However, with the last chance left to main event WrestleMania and tie for a top record, it will be interesting to see things go down in Toronto for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 event.
