Falling of a star, arguably the brightest one in the wrestling fraternity! As shocking as it sounds! No, the retirement match you were dreaming of watching on a lazy Sunday won't happen, ever. It's official. Hulk Hogan breathed his last at the age of 71. Even after hanging up his cleats long ago, the Hulkstar didn't stay out of the trend for long. He kept being the face of massive US pop culture controversy and entertainment framework. The larger-than-life persona recently decided to return to the wrestling headlines with his new endeavor, Real American Wrestling, a joint venture with ECW legend, Eric Bischoff, and coach Israel 'Izzy' Martinez. But before he could explore that horizon, an overnight cardiac arrest pulled the rug for good.

Hulk Hogan succumbed to death after a long battle with health issues

As per TMZ reports, emergency responders had to rush to Hogan's residence in Clearwater, Florida, on Thursday morning, right after they got a 911 call. But by the time, the GOAT decided to put over death with grace. Hogan has not been in good health for a long time. As a brutal aftermath of a lengthy grind inside the ring, the legend had to suffer multiple surgeries on his body.
The most recent ones include several complex operations on his knees, back, hips, and abdomen. Although the medical connection between his abrupt death and these surgeries is unclear, the man, the guy, had had a lot.
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, couldn't even feel his legs a few years back as Kurt Angle revealed he had to depend on a cane. Due to the severe nerve cuts in his lower body, the WWE stalwart's lower body became numb. It's hard to believe that the name and face of the company that used to freak out monsters like Andre the Giant, Randy Savage, and many others, lost its ability to walk on its own at one point. But it is what it is. Life comes with an unforeseen expiry date. But death might have dished out a hint to the world, just a month back, that it's time for the Hulkstar to go to the great beyond. But it's we who refused to catch the sign.

Hulk Hogan's death rumor seemed a prelude to the ultimate disaster

Last month, when Hogan was hospitalised with his recurring neck and back issues, social media pages went wild, spreading ''deathbed" rumors. However, Hogan's representatives put the speculation to rest, saying he was hospitalized due to "more of the same ailments" that he suffered over the years. It was nothing different. A surgery named the 'Little fusion procedure' went reportedly well, and Hogan was doing fine. Sky Daily, Hogan's better half, also came up to assure fans on Instagram, “No, he’s definitely not in a coma!Daily went on, spilling a deeper insight on the wrestler's health, saying, “His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors is true. He’s been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and [Fusion], which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process." But a heart attack came unwarned, catching everyone off guard in just a few days' gap. Life is really freaking uncertain.Hogan also took some steroids back in the 1990s, which subsequently affected his health. Dr. Marc Siegel, Fox News senior medical analyst, revealed that Hogan comes first among the wrestlers who had a "high incidence" of steroid and drug use, gradually leading up to a cardiac arrest. So, yes, even if the family was confident in his healing, maybe just maybe, his heart started acting up ever since he rash-drived his life in the ring, day and night, starting from taking drugs and performing heavy maneuvers. The family hasn't yet released an official death statement, but the loss remains irreparable. Black day for the world of wrestling, where a healing seems all but promised. Rest in peace, the Immortal One! WWE will never be the same.
