The WWE Hall of Fame is often seen as the pinnacle of achievement, where legends are celebrated for their contributions to the sport. However, the honor came with mixed emotions for six-time world champion Booker T. Reflecting on his induction in 2013, the wrestling veteran shared that he initially felt it was too soon for him to receive such recognition.
Booker T has had a remarkable career, winning multiple championships in both WCW and
WWE and still actively contributing to the industry as a commentator for NXT.

During the latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revealed that he didn’t feel much excitement upon receiving the call for his WWE Hall of Fame induction, Instead, he worried it marked the conclusion of his wrestling career.
Booker T Stated:
"I didn't think it was right, I felt like I was way too young. I thought it was too early for me to go into the Hall of Fame. I really wasn't ready yet because I felt like I was going into the Hall of Fame, that meant my career was over. Everything I did was going to be pretty much, you know, putting me out to the pasture so I was like man, I don't know if I'm ready for this," (Via Hall of Fame/Sportskeeda Wrestling)Booker T said he never thought he would be in the WWE Hall of Fame. However, he was inducted twice, with his second time in 2019 when he joined his brother Stevie Ray as part of Harlem Heat. Booker mentioned that his main focus was to be the best wrestler he could be, and he never really thought about being in the Hall of Fame.
Booker T Added :
"But, you get a call to go into the Hall of Fame, something I never thought about either. I never saw myself going into the Hall of Fame. That's just never something that was on my radar.
