Janel Grant’s lawyer Ann Callis reacted to Mr. McMahon docuseries on Netflix

Janel Grant’s lawyer Ann Callis has been quite vocal against McMahon, recently she slammed the former WWE boss after his statement on X (formerly Twitter) on the docuseries ahead of its release. Now, Callis has reacted to the show after its premiere on the the streaming giant. “The ‘Mr. McMahon’ docuseries makes it clear there is no difference between Vince McMahon’s on-air persona and his true self, they are one and the same. His 'character' – known for violent outbursts, sexual deviance, and manipulation – is the real Vince McMahon and exactly what Janel Grant experienced behind closed doors at WWE for years,” Callis said in a statement (via Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics).
The lawyer went on to add that the docuseries has depicted the tip of the iceberg, “While the docuseries put McMahon’s obsession with power and control on full display, it only scratches the surface of his criminal behavior,” she continued.
“And it fails to tell the full story of his abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking of Ms. Grant. She deserves the opportunity to tell her story, on her own time, and in her own way. We look forward to her day in court and to seeing McMahon at last held accountable for his actions,” Callis added. The docuseries on the iconic WWE personality reflects several details that were previously unknown. Also, it was recently reported that McMahon had made an attempt to buy the docuseries initially to destroy it, however, Netflix rejected the offer made by him.
