Samantha Irvin slams criticism over Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill hosting Bad Blood

WWE has added several exciting match cards for the upcoming PLE, Bad Blood on October 5 at State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia. WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill would not compete in the ring to defend their titles but WWE has appointed the superstar duo to host the event. However, several fans have shared their displeasure over the decision after the announcement.
Samantha Irvin responded to several fans on X (formerly Twitter) questioning a similar concern about the need for hosts in a PLE but Irvin had a clear answer to all of those queries. In a series of responses, the announcer blasts at the criticisms. “We just never gonna sit back & enjoy are we,” Irvin reacted to a post on X.Adding on to her response, she wrote, “IWC knows how to book PLE’s, secure sponsors, delegate budgets, call matches, commentate, brand & market, but they don’t know how to enjoy the show.”
In another response to the concern of fans, Irvin defended the Women’s Tag Team Champions, “To make people happy. To have fun. To celebrate the champs who’ve been on damn near every show and to not ignore the crossover mainstream appeal these women have accomplished. And who knows what else they have in store.”Although Bad Blood didn’t book a match for the Women’s Tag Team Champions’ in-ring action, their presence at the event as hosts is expected to have an impact on the celebration of the event with several high-octane matches on the cards. While Irvin is defending the champions, both Belair and Cargill are yet to respond to the criticism as of writing the piece. Also Read: WWE may add a former superstar to women's roster as revealed in new details from her husband
