To the surprise and delight of the fans, the former WWE Champion, Victoria who is also regarded as a trailblazer in female wrestling announced her return to the promotion after a 15-year hiatus. The 53-year-old is making a comeback through a new contract called the ‘Nostalgic’ Contract or a Legends Deal that will confirm her return but not as a performer.

Tweeting the news of her comeback Victoria (or Lisa Marie Varon, which is her real name) said, “Here it is, my big announcement! Earlier this week I signed a WWE Nostalgic contract. "I am so excited and honored that @wwe reached out to me about this! It's a true honor to be part of the WWE Universe again. This doesn't mean I will be hopping back into the ring [but never say never!]. It does mean I will be included in future things such as video games and maybe some new official merch! Big thank you to #WWE and all my fans and supporters, I hope you are as excited about this as I am!” A flood of congratulatory remarks followed the tweet with fans expressing their utmost delight at this announcement of her return since her cameo appearance during the 2021 Royal Rumbles Match.
She also posted a video in which she shed tears of joy while making her announcement and expressed her gratitude and excitement. Speaking of her return, she said, “Guys, I'm so sorry I didn't announce my special announcement, but guess what? I'm gonna cry, hold on. I got offered Legends Contract, which is called Nostalgic Contract now and I'm so ecstatic. I'll be in the videos, I'll have the action figures. Thank you so much for the love and all the support. I'm so fricking ecstatic, you guys have no idea. I'm trying not to cry so my makeup doesn't smear.”


Victoria is a prominent figure in WWE history who has a series of impressive accomplishments under her belt during her two-decade tenure with the company. In her announcement, she opened up about the reason why she chose to part ways with the promotion. Her decision to exit was inspired by a lack of future plans for her within the company.
Recounting a conversation with McMahon, she explained her the company’s creative team had no championship aspirations for her, causing her to conclude that her role was to enhance other talents. Since she failed to form a more meaningful relationship with the promotion, she decided to depart for good. However, the opportunity to showcase her in-ring talents didn’t stop for Victoria at WWE.
Following her exit from the latter, she received considerable success in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) where she became a five-time knockouts champion. Victoria's comeback has sparked a surge of excitement and hope, with everyone eager to see what new roles she'll take on now that she's back.
