The WWE Universe is set to witness one of the greatest editions of the Royal Rumble in 2025. The show will emanate from the state of Indianapolis and take place at Lucas Oil Stadium. The buzz around the event has been spectacular, and the build-up to it has promised a blockbuster show.

3) Start of a major feud that WWE had quietly been building

The WWE Universe might not have noticed, but the company has slowly been working towards a future possible rivalry since last year. This is in regard to former WWE Women’s tag team champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. However, there have been rumours of Cargill making her return at the Royal Rumble 2025 event. The Storm could enter the Women’s Rumble match and confront Belair, revealing her to be the mystery attacker which could possibly be the start of their rivalry leading up to a huge match at WrestleMania 41.

2) Major surprise returns

A major highlight of the Royal Rumble matches has always been the surprise entrants. This year’s rumble match could see the return of The Man Becky Lynch as a major surprise after being absent from WWE since May 2024. Other rumoured names who could enter the match as surprise entrants is Alexa Bliss, despite her ongoing contract situation. Apart from them, legendary names like Trish Stratus, Nikki Bella and Michelle McCool can also compete in this year’s women’s rumble match.

1) A comeback turns into a huge victory

WWE announced a few weeks on SmackDown that Charlotte Flair would be making her return in the 2025 Royal Rumble match after over a year. The Queen recovered from a devastating knee injury and is ready to be back in the mix. Moreover, Flair’s return could become more monumental as she is rumoured to be booked to win the Rumble match and become the first woman in WWE history to win the match twice.
