NEW DELHI: The WWE Universe witnessed a mixed response to Zoey Stark's recent promo on Monday Night
RAW, leading fans to question the booking decisions of
Triple H, who brought her to the red brand earlier this year as part of the
WWE Draft.
Stark, now on RAW, confronted Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley in a segment building up to their anticipated title match at Survivor Series 2023. However, the live crowd's lukewarm reaction to Stark's promo prompted fans to express disappointment, particularly in her mic skills.
Critics suggested that Stark might benefit from having a mouthpiece or manager on the brand to enhance her character and performance. The consensus among some fans was that her recent promo failed to connect with the audience, and improvements or adjustments might be needed for her to succeed independently.
This is not the first time Zoey Stark's booking decisions have been scrutinized. Earlier this year, she aligned with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus during Stratus' feud with
Becky Lynch on RAW. Stark played the role of Stratus' bodyguard but later turned on the Hall of Famer after her loss in a Steel Cage match at Payback 2023.
In an old interview, Stark defended Triple H's decision to postpone a significant match involving Stratus and Lynch, emphasizing the importance of ensuring ample time for the encounter. Despite the criticism, Stark remains part of the evolving WWE landscape, and the response to her character development will likely play a role in shaping her future trajectory on Monday Night RAW.
