WWE NXT News: NXT Anonymous catches Tony D'Angelo making a secret deal

An anonymous NXT account has posted a video in which Tony D’Angelo can be seen making a secret deal with a mysterious figure. In the video, the head of the D’Angelo family can be seen paying someone and giving them clear instructions to take out Oba Femi. Tony has had his eyes on Femi’s NXT North American Championship for quite some time now, but has failed to capture it despite his best efforts.
Femi and Tony also faced off at NXT No Mercy, but Tony D’Angelo didn’t have enough in the tank to take down the champ. Even having his entire family ringside didn’t help Tony stand against Oba’s overwhelming strength. However, Tony showed great resilience, and it took Oba three Powerbombs to finally put him down for good. Now, it seems like The Don is back for vengeance. Let’s take a look.

Despite being one of the top wrestlers in NXT, Tony D’Angelo could not hold a candle to Oba Femi at No Mercy. This is to be expected since Femi is somewhat of an anomaly. There have hardly been any wrestlers as dominant as Femi in quite some time now. So, Tony D’Angelo is ready to take desperate measures to take him down.
However, if Tony and his entire family couldn’t take down Oba Femi, what makes him think some mysterious wrestler can? If he is paying him for the job, clearly Tony’s found someone who can go toe-to-toe with the champ, but that list is quite small. So, we might be in for a surprising encounter when the upcoming episode of WWE NXT goes live.
Femi knows that the D’Angelo Family can’t hurt him on their own, which explains why he was extremely disrespectful towards Adriana Rizzo this past week. However, now that there is a hit out on the champ, will he come to regret his actions towards Tony and his crew? NXT’s upcoming episode is gearing up to be full of excitement.
