The Street Profits returned to NXT tonight to take on Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team titles. Originally, the Rascalz consisting of Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel were supposed to challenge for the titles, but they couldn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances and were replaced by the Street Profits.
Things seem to be going well for Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, but something out of the ordinary happened and the Bloodline showed up. Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu came out of nowhere and started attacking everyone that was involved in the Tag Team title match. Let’s take a look at what happened next.

After they came out and started attacking people, it only took the Bloodline a couple of minutes to absolutely wipe the floor with everyone involved. First, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu took out the Street Profits outside the ring. The Bloodline then made their way into the ring and made quick work of Axiom and Nathan Frazer before completely obliterating Angelo Dawkins.
Due to their interference, Axiom and Nathan Frazer were able to hold onto their tag team titles against the Street Profits. After the match, WWE shared unseen footage of the Bloodline backstage after their assault on the NXT Tag Team Champions.
Tonga Loa declared that you are no one if you’re not the bloodline.
This was followed by Tama Tonga, who made it clear that this whole attack was carried out on orders of their Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa. Why Solo would send the Bloodline to take down NXT wrestlers is still a mystery. It could be that Sikoa didn’t want the Street Profits to get their hands on the NXT Tag Team titles.
Whatever his plan was, it seems to have worked. Even GM Ava commented on the situation and mentioned that the Bloodline could’ve simply talked to her if they wanted to be on the show so badly. It’ll be interesting to see what the Street Profits do in retaliation now that the Bloodline has ruined their chances of becoming the NXT Tag Team Champions.
