WWE Friday Night SmackDown preview (12/6): Top matches, surprises, and what fans can't miss

WWE Friday Night SmackDown takes center stage tonight at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There are a lot of high-octane matches and segments in store for you. With Saturday Night's Main Event right around the corner, you can expect significant fallout from Survivor Series: WarGames, a thrilling Women's United States Championship Tournament match, and more drama in the tag team division.

The evening is expected to see a lot of action from the Survivor Series: WarGames' aftermath. Last Saturday in Vancouver, Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline had to deal with losing to Roman Reigns and the original Bloodline. This defeat has sparked speculation about Sikoa's future plans and whether he will turn his attention to the Royal Rumble. He has a fantastic chance to win the WWE Championship again at this event.


There will be the Women's United States Championship Tournament triple-threat match in the first round and this is one of the main events of the evening. Naomi takes on Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton and Legado Del Fantasma's Elektra Lopez, fresh off her team's victory at WarGames. After her team emerged victorious from WarGames at Survivor Series, Naomi had an amazing birthday weekend. She now hopes to add the cherry on top by winning tonight and moving on to the Women's United States Championship semifinals. The victor will go on to the semi-finals to play Michin.


Fans could also hear from Shinsuke Nakamura, the newly crowned Men’s United States Champion, who secured a decisive win over LA Knight at Survivor Series. With Knight unlikely to accept defeat quietly, tensions between the two are expected to escalate, setting the stage for a potential showdown.



Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa provide even another intriguing story aspect. Gargano is adamant on winning the WWE Tag Team Championships once more, so Ciampa has given him an ultimatum. If Tommaso Ciampa wants to win the WWE Tag Team Championships once more, he will do whatever it takes to get there. Johnny Gargano has been given till tonight to either carry out his plan or think of a better one.
