Bayley opens up about her WWE crush

In front of a massive crowd in Cleveland Browns Stadium on August 4,2024, the WWE SummerSlam saw the Queen of the Ring winner Nia Jax crush Bayley with a massive Annihilator. Nia went on to win her first ever singles in WWE while ending Bayley's reign as queen of circuits. Signed in with WWE in December, 2012,Bayley had made her smashing debut with WWE NXT at a live event, thereafter moving on to hold the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion for a record of 380 days, the longest in history tied with Rhea Ripley.

However, the dating history of our “hugger” has always been a mystery. Bayley was once engaged to Aaron Solow, a fellow professional wrestler performing for AEW, whom she had met back in 2010. However, the couple broke up before they even got married on February 21,2021. Earlier, Bayley has been allegedly romantically linked with Finn Balor and Seth Collins. However, she confirmed them to be just rumors.
In a recent interview however, with Dr.Chris Featherstone, Bayley revealed to have a crush on a WWE superstar.


In a candid interview with Dr.Chris Featherstone, when the interviewer asked her who is her first pro-wrestler crush and why, Bayley sheepishly replied, “Okay, I don't wanna say…this is another one…Matt Hardy”. Further explaining her answer, Bayley continued, “It started because I was a huge fan of the Hardy Boys and my sister, Brenda, thought that Jeff Hardy was the hotter one. She's like, ‘He's the hot one of the two’ and I felt like…everybody was like, you know, ‘cuz he's more popular opinion. But to me, Matt Hardy was really…I was like, No, I like the beard and in the ring he moves better. It became a thing between me and my sister.. that's really what fired it up.”

Bayley had been a fan of WWE right since her teenage years. She even claimed her favorite WWE Superstars motivated her to pursue a career in wrestling. In some unseen childhood photos of her, we get to see her with the legendary WWE wrestler John Cena as well, among others. When the interviewer, Dr. Chris Featherstone further asked her if we can ever see “the ponytail” and “the hugger” Bayley once ever again, Bayley replied, “No, ‘cuz I'm new now. I'm done with that. I'm grown…You can't ever go back to an old relationship just because it was fun, you know..”
