Blinkit's chief financial officer (CFO), Vipin Kapooria, has resigned. He is returning to Flipkart in a senior finance role, the Economic Times reported. The report cited people familiar with the matter to make this claim. Kapooria spent just over a year at the quick-commerce company after joining in September 2024. Kapooria joined Gurugram-based Blinkit from Flipkart, where he was a vice president of finance. This will be his third stint at Flipkart. He first joined the Bengaluru-based company in 2015, left for the hospitality startup Oyo in 2018, returned in 2020, and then joined Blinkit. Kapooria was Blinkit's first full-time CFO in two years. The position had been vacant since 2022, when Amit Sachdeva, Blinkit's former finance chief, quit after Zomato (now Eternal) acquired the company.
