Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Apple CEO Tim Cook congrats Narendra Modi as he becomes India’s longest-serving PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi became India’s longest continuously serving elected PM, serving the nation continuously for 4,399 days. This is one more than what the country's first Prime Minister, Jawahar Lal Nehru had achieved during his lifetime. As wishes pour in from around the world, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Apple CEO Tim Cook congratulated PM Modi. In a post on X, Nadella wrote: “Congratulations on this incredible milestone, PM @narendramodi. Your leadership and dedication to India's progress are an inspiration”. Apple CEO Tim Cook said: “Congratulations on becoming the longest serving prime minister elected in India’s history, and thank you for supporting innovation that enriches people’s lives!”.The two replied to Modi’s thanks post for good wishes received around his completion of 12 years as Prime Minister.“Deeply touched by the good wishes conveyed by people from all walks of life today and over the last few days. While I may not have been able to respond to each message individually, I cherish every greeting conveyed,” PM Modi wrote.“I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to serve Bharat and contribute to our nation’s development journey.
Over the years, the people of India have repeatedly voted for stability, good governance and development. Their trust has been my greatest source of strength. I remain fully committed to working with even greater dedication to realise the vision of a Viksit Bharat and fulfil the aspirations of 140 crore Indians”.

Microsoft to invest $3 billion in India

Earlier this year in January, Satya Nadella met PM Modi. The company then announced to invest $3 billion in India to develop the country's cloud computing and artificial intelligence sectors. Microsoft also plans to train 10 million Indians in AI skills by 2030. “Excited to build on our commitment to making India AI-first and work together on our continued expansion in the country to ensure every Indian benefits from this AI platform shift,” Nadella then wrote on X. PM Modi responded to Nadella’s post on X, saying he is glad to know about the tech and innovation in AI space.“It was indeed a delight to meet you, @satyanadella! Glad to know about Microsoft's ambitious expansion and investment plans in India,” Modi said.“It was also wonderful discussing various aspects of tech, innovation and AI in our meeting,” he added.
